Hey there! My name is Elsa Shofner and I see myself as a highly creative person. So much so, that I felt the need to create my own website in order to present myself authentically, without the pressures of social media.
I have always been fond of storytelling, and I find it easy for me to do so through illustration, animation, and written works. I take a lot of inspiration from poetic metaphors (both written and visual), fantasy, mythology, and folklore, and how it all relates to the society we live in today.
Locust Woods is a (self-created) mythology fantasy series that I am the creator of, a story that takes place both in our world and the Overgrowth - the realm where Beast is separated from Man - and is thus a story about the connection between Man and Beast and whether we completely severed that connection or not.
Locust Woods, currently in it's outlining stages, has themes of self discovery, humanity and it's histories, fate/free-will, connection, and more.
